The Verdant Haven

The Verdant Haven is designed to host a variety of events from birthdays to

weddings. It includes a large indoor function space, a sheltered outdoor

function space, two storage spaces, a kitchen and finally a toilet accessible

to the public. The design intention for this house of celebration was to

maximise user comfort and the functionality of the space while at the same

time minimising environmental impacts. Through careful consideration of

site analysis and brief, the final design successfully creates a self-sustainable

space, built to last with durable materials. This project was produced with my classmate Lily Barkhausen.
